The Easter Egg Hunt

Here are some pics of the grandkids at Deming Park for the big Easter Egg Hunt!

Grandchildren are beautiful!

Here are a few pics of my grandkids. We are in Deming Park in Terre Haute, Indiana!

New creations

Well it has been awhile since I have posted. Today I am showing off some of my work I did while visiting my grandchildren in Indiana. I love the cotton slouch beret, and it fits so nicely. The winter hat was done with boucle yarn and has an opening on top for my ponytail.

I am going to post some pictures of my grandchildren. They were on spring break and we had a blast. We went to the park and played, walked, and had lunch. Then we went back to the same park for the big East egg hunt. Jaylen found alot of eggs, but brother, Christian, did not want to participate. Christian had very unhappy experience last year, he was run down by other kids, and didn't get any eggs. Little Vaiden is too small, but had fun anyway.

Hope everyone is doing great! Would love to hear from you!

New afghan, new ideas?

I am asking myself, what project do I want to start? I just finished this latest afghan, it was a treasure find at an auction. I bid on some yarn for my stash and in the bottom of the box was an afghan half complete. I decided to complete it and I loved how it turned out, I added a little edging.

I am trying to decide if I want to start another afghan or make some hats on circular needles.

I am going to head to Hobby Lobby and check out their new yarn section.

If anyone has any easy patterns, because I do not consider myself intermediate yet. I would love some easy patterns, knit or crochet.

Have a blessed day,

Cindy

HANDI SAC OR MARKET BAG

I just want to keep posting! LOL

Sometimes I find projects that I started and didn't finish. Does anyone else do this?

I got my market bag out and finished it today. It was a free pattern from wwww.bernat.com, it actually was called a Handi-Sac. It stated it was for beginners and the pattern was fine, but it took along time to finish. I didn't use the cotton, I used regular 4 ply worsted weight yarn. So check out my handi-sac. I plan on putting it in the car and using it at the grocery store when I have to make a quick stop.

Keep crocheting!

Dogs & Babies! We Love'm!

We babysat for our grandson Tanner. He had been up since 7:30 a.m. and he fell asleep, but look who decided to protect him.

We have two shih tzu dogs. The oldest, Nemo, and the youngest, BJ.

We have a bigger dog too. Her name, Evee, she is a standard poodle. She was a Christmas gift from my younger son.

I hope to hear from everyone soon!

Enjoy your day!
